| Cellar bar under the former HMV shop, opened as a bar along with the ABC cinema on the 25th May 1973. The name Bier Keller is a description of the Bavarian style premises and the products it sold.
On Thursday 15th September 1977 it became the DOG & TRUMPET, but on the 21st August 2010 reverted to the BIER KELLER for just three years before reverting once more to a shortened version of the previous name - The Dog. | |||
