The former Admiral Lord Rodney reopened as a gay bar on May 1st 1997 and soon won various awards, including Zone Magazine's "Best Bar outside of Birmingham", The Godiva Award for "Best Club", and runner up for "Best Bar" in 2008. Rainbows, Short St


The Rainbow has been used since the seventeenth century. Its distinctive shape and colours make it a good visual sign, while it may also refer to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
